Steve's Family Diner
I'm here for the french fries.
Stopping for dinner on the way home. Well done steak and chili burger, steak and green beans, and some great fried chicken. The chicken batter was really good so i ask, can they take the french fries and dip them in the chicken batter and then load it with chili .... they brought it to the table and it was as good as it sounds. That is outstanding service, great restaurant. The price was right and very resonible. We were seated quickly and as the sign says... "The best fried chicken in the world" The owner took time to come and talk with us and he was the one who made the special order of fries. The place looks like an old diner from the 50s and and sits right Next time you're in Titusville make sure you stop by.

Boiled Peanuts
Make mine Cajun please
Boiled peanuts have always been a southern favorite. As a kid I was treated to some just outside the capital building in Tallahassee. I have loved them ever since. Easy to make and a mess to eat. Nothing better then fresh from the pot at a roadside stand. They are a finger food of sorts and are best eaten without care as to what is spilling on you. When you open a shell and find 4 peanuts in one shot it is like finding treasure. The taste is acquired and some don't like them at all. Give me a big cup and the time to eat them on the trail and this guy will finish them all before the day is done.
